EcoTeams
for Global Action Plan
Global Action Plan (GAP) is the leading charity in the UK that encourages the public to live more sustainable lifestyles and to give them the tools to help make the relevant changes. One such way GAP do this is through Ecoteams which facilitate people to work together with family, friends, colleagues- even strangers- through a series of practical actions to lower their carbon emissions.

GAP asked Public to take their currently offline EcoTeam project online in preparation for a nationwide advertising campaign. The re-versioning of EcoTeams for the web will make it significantly more interactive and engaging whilst increasing the reach and ultimately the effect on carbon emissions
The campaign has 3 main phases and the first launched to coincide with EDF's Team Green Britain site which is helping to promote EcoTeams. In phase 1 the site allows users to sign up to EcoTeams and also offline training events. The subsequent phases will allow users to create and promote teams and then record all their measurements such as electricity and gas readings to enable them to see the improvement they have made over the course of a 5 month project.
